Take a pew Perth church selling off seating to help cover costs of renovation

The redevelopment of a Perth church has provided an opportunity to acquire a piece of the city’s history.
More than £800,000 has been raised to transform the sanctuary of St Matthew’s on Tay Street and to make it a more flexible and accessible space the pews are being removed.
To help meet the costs of the project the pews are being sold off for £100 each.
The first person to buy one was hairdresser Campbell Ewen who has installed the pew in his new business premises at 14 George Street, Perth.
