An elderly man has died in a crash in Perthshire this morning.
Police say the man’s 4×4 left the road, inflicting fatal injuries.
The tragedy happened on an unclassified road between Dunning and Auchterarder at about 8.20am.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland was alerted to the incident, near to Broadfold Farm, on the road running between Abbey Road and the B8062. Officers are attending along with members of the ambulance service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.”
The road is currently closed while a crash investigation takes place.
Details of the victim will not be released until he has been formally identified and next of kin informed.
