Proclaimers to headline Perth Festival of the Arts 2015

One of Scotland’s most popular bands, the Proclaimers, will headline this year’s Perth Festival of the Arts.
The 44th festival, running from May 21-31, will also feature artists including King Creosote and Courtney Pine.
Jools Holland is coming back for the third time and the event will include a strong field of classical performances.
Over the years the Perth Festival of the Arts has grown from its classical roots to embrace a wide range of art forms and is one of the oldest continuously running arts festivals in Scotland.
The line-up will also see English Touring Opera La Boheme, the BBC Philharmonic, Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Bands, Ronnie Scott’s All Star Quintet and Claire Martin, the Only Way is Downton and an organ recital by Andrew Forbes.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale on March 30, and Friends of the Festival can book from March 23.
