ByThe Courier Reporter
Two flatmates who started selling ecstasy to make “easy money” received a total of 12 months in custodial sentences.
Callum Stokes, 22, and David Cheers, 20, were sentenced to six months each after they were discovered with nearly £1,400 worth of ecstasy at their old flat on Monteath Street, Crieff.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis rejected pleas to give them community based sentences as they were “frightened” of custodial sentences.
Stokes and Cheers admitted dealing ecstasy from their former home on April 30.
Depute fiscal Carol Whyte told Perth Sheriff Court they were found with 126 tablets and further powdered ecstasy which had a total value of £1,400.
