The single-vehicle accident happened at around 4.35am and the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. A man in his 90s sustained injuries and was taken to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital by ambulance. Police Scotland said there were no passengers in the black Honda Jazz car and no one else was injured. The ambulance service said that the man was in a “stable condition”.
