Emergency services were called to the A94 north of Balbeggie at 2.06pm after a car went off the road. A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said one person was reported trapped. The Scottish Ambulance Service dispatched a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene. The occupants of the car are believed to have suffered minor cuts and bruises but were taken to Perth Royal Infirmary as a precaution. The car sustained major damage. A spokesman said there was no suggestion that cold weather had caused the accident.
