A mountaintop picnic is to be held later this week to raise funds for Tayside Mountain Rescue.
Atholl Estates will lay on a spread 1,550ft up one of their many Munros.
The opportunity comes as the Highland estate hosts an assisted charity walk up Creag Urrard.
Aside from giving those taking part a once-in-a-lifetime chance to take in the spectacular scenery of the Cairngorms, all while being served tea and scones, the walk is being done in aid of volunteers who put themselves at risk to rescue missing and injured hillwalkers.
Tayside Mountain Rescue is one of 28 teams in Scotland providing a 24-hour service, 365 days a year.
Atholl Estate’s ranger team and Tayside Mountain Rescue will be on hand throughout the event to assist walkers.
Mike Dukes, head of tourism at Atholl Estates, said: “Walkers roam the estate all year round but given it’s the Year of Natural Scotland, we wanted to put on an outdoor event with a difference. Enjoying tea and scones at 1,550 feet really is the ultimate mile-high diners’ club.
“Everyone is welcome and we have already had very strong interest in the event.
“The Tayside Mountain Rescue team truly are unsung heroes. They offer a year-round service, entirely operated by volunteers. “Sitting at the heart of this walk is the hope that those taking part can raise lots of money to reward the rescue team’s efforts.”
The event will take place this Saturday from 10am-2pm.
