‘Everything possible’ done to limit A9 delays at Dalwhinnie
ByPaul Reoch
BEAR Scotland insists “everything possible” is being done to minimise disruption at roadworks on the A9.
Several motorists claimed they had to wait up to an hour in queues near Dalwhinnie.
A 10mph convoy system has been in operation during resurfacing works at Dalnaspidal, as well as temporary traffic lights.
A BEAR Scotland spokeswoman said: “We are doing everything possible to ensure that we minimise disruption to road users during the remainder of these works, including temporarily suspending the bridge works at Dalwhinnie with a view to removing the traffic lights. At Dalnaspidal, we are limiting our convoy working where possible to reduce build-up of traffic.”
The roadworks are expected to be completed within two weeks.
