Perth’s Simon Howie Butchers has continued its support for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) with a £5,000 donation.
First launched in May 2013, SCAA has responded to around 500 emergency call-outs across Scotland.
“The SCAA team works tirelessly throughout the year in the most challenging of circumstances to provide emergency care to communities throughout Scotland,” said Simon Howie.
“We’re delighted to support the life-saving work that they do.”
The pilot, paramedics and administrative staff are based at Perth Airport. Their annual fundraising target of £1.5 million allows the service to operate across Scotland 10 hours a day, seven days a week.
SCAA chief executive Gavin Davey said: “SCAA can only keep flying and responding to help those most in need through the generosity of supporters such as Simon Howie Butchers.
“The SCAA team does a valuable and very brave job and we’re extremely grateful for contributions such as this.”
