Mystery surrounds a manic music video created by Perth High School pupils to raise cash for a cancer charity.
The star of the two-minute clip is Tartan Farmer Boy, who is bedecked in a short kilt, fly plaid and tartan tammy.
He has a long grey beard which obscures his face and fake fur on his arms and legs.
Tartan Farmer Boy tears around the farm, driving a tractor and chasing pupils through fields.
The video also shows chickens, sheep and cows dancing to the catchy soundtrack.
As the speeded-up footage plays, a man with a broad Scottish accent raps about Tartan Farmer Boy and life on the farm. Are you Tartan Farmer Boy or do you know him? Perth High School pupils are hoping for 100,000 hits on YouTube, according to the website.
They have also set up a Just Giving page which has attracted £84 in donations for Maggie’s Centres.
However, the identity of Tartan Farmer Boy and the pupils who made the video are unknown.
Maggie’s community fundraiser for Dundee Claire Heaton said: “This video shows just how imaginative and creative young people can be when it comes to fundraising.
“I can only applaud the pupils of Perth High School for all their fundraising efforts for Maggie’s and I urge everyone to click on the link, enjoy the video and make a contribution and maybe soon we will find out the identity of the farm boy.
“Every penny raised for Maggie’s is essential in helping us to keep the doors of our centres open and to help us continue to offer practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer.”
