Death of woman found in Perth treated as ‘unexplained’

The death of a woman in the Muirton area of Perth at the weekend is being investigated by police.
Her death is being described as ”unexplained” and police declined to divulge any further information on the circumstances of the discovery.
In a statement they said: ”Tayside Police can confirm that officers attended an address in Linnet Drive, Perth, on Saturday following the death of a 39-year-old woman.
”The death is unexplained and inquiries continue to establish the circumstances. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
Linnet Drive is part of the regeneration of Muirton which has taken place in recent years, with large-scale demolition being replaced by new housing.
