The latest bid to capitalise on the multi-million-pound boost from the Ryder Cup has been unveiled.
In just over a year, Perth and Kinross will welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors and efforts are being made to ensure the area is recognised across the world.
A new website has been launched by the local authority to provide in-depth information for locals, visitors and businesses, including where to stay, what to do and how to get involved.
The site will also be updated regularly with plans for community events and transport arrangements, as well as details on how businesses can tender for official Ryder Cup contracts.
Taking place at Gleneagles in 2014, the Ryder Cup has been welcomed by sports fans, politicians and local residents alike.
With around 250,000 visitors set to descend upon Perthshire throughout the week-long event, not to mention the millions watching at home, it is a unique opportunity for tourism.
Tourism chiefs estimate more than £100 million will be generated for the Scottish economy much of it locally in Central Scotland and Perthshire as 45,000 visitors descend upon the prestigious golf course at Gleneagles during each day of the event.
In addition to the tens of thousands of spectators, the competition will also host thousands of volunteers and events staff, all of whom need accommodation and all major hotels in the area are already fully booked.
The major golf tournament will also leave behind a legacy for young Scots, with an annual investment of £500,000 into a programme that will introduce every child to the sport.
