Online road camera service allows Perthshire motorists to spot traffic trouble

Motorists in Perthshire will be able to spot winter traffic trouble from the comfort of their own homes thanks to live road camera feeds.

Live action from nine key sites across the region will be posted on the local authority’s website.

One of the live feeds which update every 15 minutes will run at the A93 at Glenshee which is often badly hit by harsh weather over the winter months.

Other cameras are available at A93 at South Persie; A94 at Rosefield; A822 at Amulree; A977 at Gelvan; Kinloch Rannoch; A9 at Loaninghead; A90 at Starr Farm and the M90 at Glenfarg.

The website also allows drivers to view footage from the A90 at Forfar.
