A member of staff at a facility for disabled people in Perth has been suspended.
The probe was launched at Capability Scotland’s Upper Springland site, which has 48 flats for adults with disabilities.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “We have been made aware of an allegation against a member of staff at our Upper Springland Service.
“This person has been suspended while we conduct a thorough investigation and we are working closely with the relevant authorities to do so.”
A spokesperson for watchdog the Care Inspectorate said service users are not at risk.
“We have been notified of this incident and are satisfied the organisation has taken appropriate action to safeguard the welfare of service users,” said the spokesperson.
“Every person is entitled to care that reflects their needs and promotes their care. The welfare of people using care services must always be the top priority.”
