A charity which is close to the hearts of the people of Scotland has celebrated a milestone.
Sunday marked the 20th anniversary of Scotland’s first children’s hospice, Rachel House in Kinross.
The hospice is run by Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) and provides specialised support to babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families.
Since opening in 1996, the hospice has supported 620 affected children from across the country, and their families, providing tailored care and respite services.
On Easter Sunday, the milestone was celebrated with a Mad hatter themed birthday party when the founders of CHAS, staff, volunteers and patients gathered together to celebrate two decades since their dream became a reality.
