ByThe Courier Reporter
Police have said they have “considerable concern” for an elderly man who has been missing for a month.
They have issued a fresh appeal for information about William Elder, 81, who was last seen at 10.45am on Tuesday December 10 at his home address at James Court in Pitlochry, Perthshire.
His disappearance is said to be out of character and there is considerable concern for his welfare. Mr Elder is 5ft, slim and has brown, greying hair.
When last seen, he was wearing a green wax jacket, black loose fitting trousers and brown boots.
He has difficulty walking, has a very distinctive limp and normally uses a walking stick.
Police Scotland said they are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen Mr Elder in and around the area of Pitlochry town centre.
