And now, the end is near 10-month trial ends with defendant singing Sinatra’s My Way

A man accused of stalking his former landlady finished his lengthy trial with a flourish by singing Frank Sinatra’s My Way.
Portuguese national Jeronimo Bouceiro broke into his rendition of the classic song after conducting his own defence during the 10-month hearing at Perth Sheriff Court.
He is accused of stalking police officer Gillian Farnington between May 2011 and March last year.
The trial heard how a series of increasingly bizarre incidents began when Bouceiro became Ms Farnington’s lodger at her Perth home.
Despite being asked to leave within weeks, he continued to contact her and even followed her on holiday to present her with a gift of a single peanut.
Bouceiro, 40, of Kinross denies all the charges.
Sheriff Michael Fletcher deferred the case to consider his verdict.
