A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash.
The 57-year-old rider sustained injuries to his pelvis and legs after he was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa on the B594 between Peel Farm and Backwater Reservoir at around 5.50pm.
The motorcyclist was taken to Ninewells Hospital by helicopter and was said to be in a “serious but stable” condition.
It is understood the injured man was travelling in a group of five touring bikers from Germany when the accident took place.
The driver of the Corsa was also taken to Ninewells Hospital but suffered only minor injuries.
Police Scotland have appealed for any witnesses to contact them on 101.
