A man has appeared in court accused of engaging in a sex act in front of a 15-year-old girl while travelling on a bus.
Andrzej Tracz has been banned from using all public transport in the city of Perth until his trial in May.
Additionally the 48-year-old must report to Perth police station on a daily basis.
Tracz, of the city’s Sandpiper Gardens, denies exposing himself in a sexual manner to the teenager on February 18.
It is alleged that while on a journey between Cedar Drive and South Street in Perth he exposed his erect genitals, with the intention that the girl would see them, and masturbated.
Tracz, who is originally from Poland, denies the charge.
At Perth Sheriff Court yesterday fiscal depute Jim Eodanable urged Sheriff Michael Fletcher to ban Tracz from the city’s buses and require him to register with police daily as a condition of bail.
Tracz’s solicitor did not oppose either motion but requested that he be allowed to attend the police station earlier that the time proposed by Mr Eodanable to allow him to continue in employment.
Tracz will appear again on May 7, ahead of a trial on the 22nd of that month.
