Former head teacher of Perthshire boarding school accused of fondling pupils

A pupil at a Perth boarding school who reported the headmaster for sneaking into her bedroom was told “don’t rock the boat”, a court has heard.
David Cowling, 76, is accused of using lewd and libidinous practices towards two teenage girls during his time in charge of Balnacraig School in the 1970s.
Perth Sheriff Court heard that one of the alleged victims, woke up to find someone pressing into her body.
She said she believed that person to have been Cowling.
The trial continues.
