Look out your day-glo and start styling that mullet 80s festival Rewind Scotland is coming back to Perthshire.

The extravaganza will take place from Friday July 18 until Sunday July 20 at Scone Palace. This year’s Rewind promises to be bigger and better than ever with the “crme de la crme” of classic 80s pop music to perform.

Headline acts will include Billy Ocean, and there will be a rare festival appearance from American pop/soul/R&B icons Daryl Hall and John Oates.

The celebrations will showcase non-stop music on the main stage from the biggest 80s icons, plus plenty of audience participation and dressing up.

The festival also features artists including ABC, The Sugarhill Gang, 10cc, Midge Ure, Blancmange, Roland Gift, Johnny Hates Jazz, Jimmy Somerville, The Boomtown Rats, T’Pau, The Selecter, Marc Almond and many more.

Carol Decker of T’Pau cannot wait to come back to Scotland for the show.

“I performed at Rewind three years ago and last year I hosted it it was really flattering to be asked,” she said.

“Scone Place is such a beautiful setting for Rewind and I love Scotland.”

Carol continued: “This year it’s such a fantastic line-up and there are so many acts I’m really looking forward to seeing I love Jimmy Somerville, Billy Ocean, Nick Heyward, Blancmange, Matt Bianco and Daryl Hall and John Oates.”

Tickets go on general sale on Friday at 9am and can be purchased in person at Perth Concert Hall box office from 10am.
