Police have renewed efforts to find an American woman who went missing in Highland Perthshire a week ago.
Officers retraced the steps of Susan McLean in a bid to find the US tourist.
The 61-year-old was holidaying with her family when she was reported missing from her lodge in Aberfeldy on Sunday May 17.
The last confirmed report of her whereabouts remains a CCTV image captured on that Sunday night.
Mrs McLean, of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, left her room at the Moness Resort on Crieff Road at 7.45pm that day but did not return.
Police Scotland has carried out extensive searches in the town, with support from Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and search dogs, the operational support division, the air support unit and the dive and marine unit.
These teams continued to carry out searches in the area over the weekend, including on the road out of Aberfeldy, the A826.
Officers also re-visited the town between 7pm and 9pm last night to mark one week from Mrs McLean’s disappearance.
A police spokesman said: “It has been a week since she’s been missing so officers have been retracing their steps to try and help find her.
“Extra police officers have also been brought into the area to try and speak to passers-by and residents to see if they can trigger anything at all that may help.”
A mother of two, Mrs McLean is a self-employed teacher of horseback riding and therapeutic riding.
Several members of her extended family have flown to Scotland to comfort her husband and sons. It is understood that “more than one” of Susan McLean’s relatives made the journey to Perthshire, arriving on Thursday.
Susan’s husband Donald said: “This has been a very difficult time for our family. Susan is a loving wife and mother to our sons James and Donald and we miss her terribly.
“We just want her to be here with us. If anyone knows anything that might help to bring her back to our family, please let the police know so that we can bring her home.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
