Police have released photos of two men they want to question after a racial assault on a train travelling between Aberdeen and Perth.
A 20-year-old woman was targeted on the 20.42 Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street service on July 15.
British Transport Police have released the CCTV images as they make a fresh appeal for witnesses.
The first man is described as about 5’10”, in his mid-20s, of slim build and tattoos on his hands. He was wearing a black tracksuit with white stripes on the sleeves and dark trainers.
The second man is described as also being about 5’10”, in his mid-late 20s, of stocky build and with dark hair. He was wearing work-style trousers and a black hooded top with orange branding.
Detective Constable David McAllister said: “The disgusting behaviour was completely unwarranted and appalled people. The train also stopped at Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroath, Dundee and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016.”
