ByThe Courier Reporter
A chef has been placed on the sex offenders register after he admitted sexually assaulting two women at the hotel where he worked.
Paul Armitt admitted at Perth Sheriff Court that he carried out sex attacks on a teenage waitress and another female member of staff while he worked at hotel.
Armitt has previous convictions relating to lewd and libidinous conduct and kerb crawling.
He initially faced a total of 12 charges but 10 of those were dropped by the Crown when he pleaded guilty to two offences.
Armitt, of St Edmund Terrace, Dundee, admitted sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl by handling her breasts in the hotel during 2012.
He also admitted sexually assaulting a 30-year-old woman by slapping her buttocks on October 12 2013.
Sentence was deferred for the preparation of reports and solicitor David Holmes, defending, said Armitt is no longer working at the hotel.
