A woman who was reported missing after crossing the Tay Road Bridge has been charged with theft.
Ann Taylor, 52, sparked a large-scale search when she was reported missing on Friday.
The Girlguiding leader had been spotted crossing the bridge from Dundee towards Fife and had not been seen since.
On Tuesday, police confirmed she had been found safe and well in St Andrews.
It is understood officers located her after she allegedly stole two jackets from a church in the centre of the town.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 52-year-old woman has been charged following a theft from a church in St Andrews. She will appear in court at a later date.”
Another spokesman for the force confirmed the woman was accused of stealing the items of clothing from St Andrews Baptist Church on South Street.
Sarah Cartwright, who works at the church, said they noticed jackets had gone missing while a service was being conducted on Sunday.
