A section of the A85 has been closed to traffic after flooding made the route dangerous to drivers.
All lanes have been closed in both directions on the section of road between the A85 Methven and the A822 Gilmerton.
Traffic Scotland announced just before 9.40am that that section of the road had been closed.
Reports had been coming in all morning that flooding was making it difficult to for traffic pass. Motorists said the water was over a foot deep at one point and cars were already getting stuck.
Stagecoach have also announced that all Perth 1515a buses are going as far as Crieff due to flooding between Crieff and Comrie.
