Police hunt man in connection with assault in Perth

Police are trying to track a 20-year-old man who is suspected of assaulting another male in Perth, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident took place around 2.30am at a common close in Nimmo Place and resulted in a 28-year-old man sustaining a head injury.
The man’s injury is not thought to be serious.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers were called to a disturbance at a common close in Nimmo Place, Perth, at 2.30am.
“Police are looking for assistance from the public in tracing a male who ran off from the scene.”
The assailant is described as being aged 20, 5ft 7ins in height, slim build with ‘messy,’ dark brown hair and wore a red T-shirt.
