A little piece of fashion history is proving it still has the ability to turn heads more than 40 years after the designer’s name was on everybody’s lips.
Mary Quant was an instrumental figure in 1960s fashion and one of her garments has been drawing admiring glances from passers-by since it went on display at Revival in George Street, Perth.
“It’s an original late 1960s mini dress,” said Mandy Millar of Revival.
“My client bought the dress from a boutique in George Street, strangely enough, but as yet I have been unable to identify the shop. She bought the dress with one of the first wages she earned.”
