A man has appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court charged with breaking into Perth police station and stealing a police car.
David Mullen, 27, of Scott Street, Perth, is charged with breaking into Perth police station on Tuesday and stealing a set of car keys. He also faces a charge that on the same date, at the same address, he stole a vehicle.
It is understood the police vehicle was a Mitsubishi Outlander. Mullen appeared in private before Sheriff Lindsay Foulis on Wednesday and made no plea or declaration. He was remanded in custody for further examination.
It is expected Mullen will make a second appearance at the court next week in relation to the allegations.
