A dancing plumber who became a global internet sensation faces being sent to prison after he was caught with a haul of weapons at T in the Park.
Mark Topen – whose dance moves have been viewed online more than ten million times – was caught at the music festival with axes and knives.
The 53-year-old plumber from Dundee was found to have smuggled two axes and two twin bladed knives into the event at Strathallan Estate in Perthshire.
Topen, Gilmore Place, Dundee, admitted having the haul of weapons at the festival site, near Auchterarder, on 11 July this year.
Fiscal depute Gavin Letford told Perth Sheriff Court that Topen had previous convictions and he was released on bail. Sheriff Fiona Tait deferred sentence for the preparation of reports.
