A body has been found within a fire-ravaged lodge on the outskirts of Dundee.
Police Scotland confirmed the grim find at Piperdam Holiday Resort, with a formal identification yet to take place.
The family of missing person Jamie McLennan from Aberdeen has been made aware.
It is understood the 26-year-old had been visiting two registered guests staying at the resort.
Neither of the guests were in the lodge when the fire broke out.
The blaze, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, is being treated as unexplained and a joint investigation with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing.
The lodge was a stand-alone building and no other lodges or buildings were affected by the fire.
There was no requirement for evacuation of any other building during the incident.
