One of the country’s top young waiters has been served with a driving ban after he moved his car 50 metres after a night in the pub.
Daniel Harrison works as a chef de rang at the five-star Gleneagles Hotel and was chosen to represent the UK at the World Skills event in Rio last year.
Harrison, 22, has been disqualified from driving after he was caught parking outside a Tandoori takeaway. Harrison, of Ruthven Park, Auchterarder, admitted driving while more than twice the legal limit in the town’s High Street on December 27 last year.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis banned Harrison for 18 months and fined him £600.
