Man accused of making indecent images in Perth homeless shelter

A man is due to stand trial today accused of making indecent photographs of children in a Perth homeless shelter.
John Nicoll, 34, of Barlinnie Prison, is accused of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children, on or between April 2 2014 and May 9 2014, at Room 27, Skinnergate House, Skinnergate, Perth.
He also faces a charge of possessing indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children between the same dates and at the same location.
Nicoll is also accused of installing software applications on his mobile phone which were capable of erasing files and other data to prevent them from being forensically recovered.
