German flipped and threw pizza at partner in Perthshire

A German tourist threw a pizza and a pan after an argument with his partner during a holiday in Perthshire.
Perth Sheriff Court heard that Wolfgang Greulich, 57, of Lilienring, had driven for six hours, was tired and had then drunk alcohol prior to the row breaking out with his partner of 10 years.
Depute fiscal Jim Eodanable told the court that Greulich was on holiday with the woman and her two children.
“The pair had different expectations of the holiday,” he said. “The accused threw a pizza which was the evening meal, and thereafter he threw a pan and its contents, which hit the woman.
“The woman suffered some bruising to a leg as a result, but didn’t need medical attention.”
Defence solicitor Graham Harding said his client was apologetic about the incident.
On Wednesday, Greulich admitted that on August 10 at Orchard Cottage, Huntingtowerfield, he shouted, swore, threw a pizza and thereafter threw a pan and its contents, the latter hitting a woman.
Greulich was fined £300 for the offence.
