Tributes have been paid to an “absolutely lovely man” who died following a crash at an A9 accident blackspot near Perth.
Police said Peter Isted lost control of the Land Rover he was driving southbound on a stretch of dual carriageway south of Birnam at midday on Saturday.
The 63-year-old suffered serious injuries when the vehicle overturned and he died the next day in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
Mr Isted was alone in the Land Rover and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
A police spokesman said: “Mr Isted’s family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.”
The married father began working as a farm manager at Dunalastair Estate near Loch Rannoch three years ago.
Rose La Terriere, who owns and runs the estate, said: “Peter was a hard working farm manager who was liked by everyone who came into contact with him.
“He was kind and thoughtful of others and always willing to help anyone in need. He will be much missed by us all at Dunalastair. We were very fond of him.”
Holiday cottage manager Debbie Wilson added: “Everybody is really shocked. I saw him most days and he was an absolutely lovely man.”
