The woman was trapped underneath the car and had to be freed by the fire service. Firefighters were called to Emma Street just after 9.40am yesterday and used chocks and blocks to stabilise the vehicle and release the woman. A spokesman said the woman was trapped between the car and pavement for several minutes. She was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.
