Police and firefighters were alerted to the crash at the roundabout shortly before 2pm and the casualty had to be cut free from his car. A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We got the call at 1.47pm to a two-vehicle road traffic collision, near to the Inchture turn-off. “Fire crews from Macalpine Road and Blackness Road, including the Heavy Rescue Unit were mobilised to the scene. “The Scottish Ambulance Service, Police Scotland and trauma teams from Ninewells Hospital were also in attendance.” The male casualty was removed using hydraulic cutting equipment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The off-slip to Inchture was closed for Bear Scotland to clear the debris.
