Treacherous driving conditions in Perth and Kinross

Motorists in Perth and Kinross are experiencing difficult driving conditions this morning following significant overnight snow.

A number of rush hour accidents have been reported, causing disruption on a number of major routes.

One lane of the northbound A9 is currently partially blocked by an accident at Greenloaning, while a single lane of the northbound M90 is also obstructed, near to Bridge of Earn.

North of Perth, motorists reported a “whiteout” on the A9, with the snow continung to fall and visibility poor.

Motorists are advised to take care and drive to the conditions.
