Inquiries continue into stranger sightings in Crook of Devon

Police officers in Kinross-shire continue to make inquiries into sightings of a mysterious man in the village of Crook of Devon.

The man was reportedly spotted in fields near next to a residential street over the festive and New Year period.

While residents expressed their fears, Police Scotland suggested the man might be sleeping rough.

Despite the poor weather conditions, local officers believe there is no reason to believe anyone’s safety is at risk.

Police Scotland said: “We are still making inquiries, but there have been no further sightings of this individual.”

“There is nothing to suggest any immediate cause for concern.”
