Man dies six days after road accident at Blairingone

A man has died following a car crash in Kinross-shire last weekend.
The man, whose identity has not been released by police, has spent the week in hospital since the accident on the A977 at Blairingone on Sunday February 17.
Police said his condition deteriorated and he died on Saturday.
The man was driving a red Ford Ka and was taken to hospital with chest injuries after the accident, which happened at 4.30pm.
The male and female adult occupants of the silver Renault Megane suffered slight injuries.
Tayside Police has renewed appeals for any witnesses to the accident to come forward.
A spokesman said: “Further details will not be released until next of kin have been fully informed.
“Inquiries into the full circumstances of the collision are being carried out and, as with all deaths, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
“Tayside Police appeal to anyone who saw these vehicles prior to the incident, or who witnessed the collision to contact the force on the non-emergency number 101 or speak to any police officer.”
