An Alyth teenager has been placed on the sex offenders register during an appearance at Perth Sheriff Court.
Daniel Jack Comrie (18), of the town’s Toutie Street, appeared in the dock on Thursday to admit using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards a girl between October 4 2009 and June 30 2010.
The accused was aged 15 at the time of the offence and his victim a year younger.
When police officers spoke to Comrie he claimed the acts had been consensual and that he had been “bullied” by the complainer.
However, the court was told that he had subsequently accepted that she’d not committed the acts willingly and that she had been visibly “scared”.
Depute fiscal Charmaine Cole said the complainer had struggled to come to terms with what had happened and had subsequently sought medical and psychological treatment.
Sentence was deferred until April 24 for reports, including one from the Tay Project, which works with those who commit sexual offences.
