Scone Palace pretty in pink for Breast Cancer Care

A pink glow surrounded Scone Palace on Monday evening as the crowning place of Scottish kings was lit up in spectacular style for Breast Cancer Care.
The palace’s stunning grounds will be the venue for the charity’s Pink Ribbonwalk, which this year takes place on Saturday May 18.
The event will see hundreds of people come together to walk 10 or 20 miles through the Perthshire countryside to raise money to support those affected by breast cancer.
Last year’s Scone Palace Ribbonwalk was a huge success and saw over 750 participants helping to raise over £250,000.
Scone Palace events manager Heather McArthur said: “It’s not every day we change the colour of the Scone Palace so this was a really special occasion.
“Breast cancer is a disease that affects many people and we have been delighted to host the Pink Ribbonwalk at Scone Palace for the last five years.
“It’s a wonderful event and lovely to see so many people exploring the historic grounds of the palace.
“I hope as many people as possible will sign up for the Pink Ribbonwalk and add to the sea of pink on the day.”
