Woman arrested in connection with alleged robbery attempt in Perth

A woman has been arrested following an alleged assault and attempted robbery in Perth city centre.
It’s understood the female was pursued by police officers through the busy High Street and subsequently apprehended.
She is said to have accosted a woman at a bank machine in full view of the shoppers and two officers on Monday.
Police Scotland confirmed that a woman had been arrested following the incident, which took place at around 1.50pm.
