Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash at Bridge of Cally

A 60-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital following a road accident in Perthshire.
The motorcyclist was involved in an accident with a car on the A93 at Bridge of Cally, shortly before 4.30pm on Sunday.
Although her injuries were not life-threatening, she suffered a serious leg injury and was taken by the Helimed air ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where was said to be in a ”stable” condition.
The accident at the Persie House junction caused significant traffic delays while the police dealt with the incident and investigated its cause.
