Scone’s drainage problems will be in the spotlight at a public information event in the Wheel Inn on Thursday.
From 2 to 7pm, representatives from Perth and Kinross Council and other public bodies will be available to answer residents’ concerns.
The meeting has been arranged following the collapse before Christmas of a barrel drain which runs alongside Angus Road. It opened massive holes in the garden of a house and in the Wheel Inn car park.
There have also been several flooding incidents in the village recently.
Representatives from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa), the Scottish Flood Forum and Scottish Water will also be present at the meeting.
A Scottish Water spokesman said: “A number of agencies have responsibility for dealing with different aspects of flooding in Scotland.
“Scottish Water is responsible for addressing sewer flooding due to lack of capacity within the sewer system.
“Individual landowners are responsible for culverted surface watercourses under roads, driveways or buildings.”
