A man has been detained in relation to an incident in which a man sustained serious injuries in Perth.
Police were called to a property on Logie Crescent on Tuesday following reports of a “disturbance”.
Neighbours said they had heard screams coming from the house before an injured man, named locally as Dale MacDonald, or Kirk, was pulled from the house and another man ran away down a lane.
Officials said Mr MacDonald was suffering from “serious injuries” but refused to elaborate further.
Those living near the flat say Mr MacDonald left with blood covering his face.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that a 30-year-old man has been detained in connection with an incident at Logie Crescent, Perth on Tuesday April 5.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
