Singer Peter Andre will switch on Perth’s Christmas lights this month.
The 41-year-old will be joined by pop group Boney M at the gala event on Saturday November 22.
Andre shot to fame in 1996 with the release of his single Mysterious Girl.
But it was his appearance on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here in 2004 and subsequent romance and break-up with glamour model Katie Price, also known as Jordan, that really transformed him into a household name.
Perth’s Christmas lights celebrations begin at 12 noon with the lights being officially switched on at 6.15pm.
