Danni leaves stable career for thrill of modelling

A Perthshire woman is enjoying a dramatic change of career from running the family stables to the glamorous world of modelling.
Twenty-two-year-old Danni is the daughter of Robin and Irena Menzies, the owners of the Mains of Taymouth country estate, Kenmore.
Up until 2008, Danni was running the stables on the estate but then began modelling and moved to Edinburgh.
One recent assignment was to become the face of Macmillan Cancer Care in Scotland and she has just taken part in a charity fashion show to help Kenyan Orphanage charity MIA Mission in Action.
As well as running an orphanage, MIA is raising funds to support a school for the entire community in Nakuru Bay, Kenya.
“It’s certainly been a change to go from mucking out stables to modelling,” Danni said.
“I am thoroughly enjoying it and have signed with the Stolen Agency in Edinburgh.
“I have had some very enjoyable modelling assignments, including (being) the face of Macmillan Cancer Care and this recent work for MIA, which raised £8000.
“I come home to Kenmore as often as I can. It’s great to catch up with the family and, of course, the horses.”
