Morag Amour (78) was arrested last September after her 80-year-old husband William was discovered with multiple stab wounds. However, she was told at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday that the Crown had decided to take no further action against her. The pair are now living apart and cannot have unsupervised contact, the court heard. Mrs Amour initially appeared in private on a petition alleging she attacked her husband on September 17, 2009. She was accused of having repeatedly stabbed him in the wrist at the home they formerly shared in Cowden Way, Comrie. After her arrest she was granted bail on condition that she did not approach her husband or contact him without third party supervision. However, the bail condition was subsequently removed by the court after she asked to be allowed to share meals with her husband. Defending, solicitor John McLaughlin said someone had been acting as a liaison, helping with visits and meetings between them. Mr McLaughlin added that they would not be living together again.
