Two people cut free after car crash near Blairgowrie

Two people had to be cut free following a two-vehicle accident near Blairgowrie.
The collision occurred on the A923 Blairgowrie to Coupar Angus road at 4.05pm and involved a Mazda 3 and a Skoda Fabia.
The two occupants of the Skoda, an elderly couple from Broughty Ferry, were cut free and taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, with non-serious neck injuries.
A third person was taken to Ninewells as a precaution but allowed away after being examined. There was significant disruption to the road as emergency services worked at the scene.
